How we work
Ship the smaller change
When two fixes both work, we take the one with the smaller diff. Deleting something counts as progress.
Fix it at the source
A report names one path. We fix the shared cause once rather than patching the path that happened to get reported.
Verify by running it
We don't hand off work we haven't watched work. Say what you observed, and say what you left untested.
Say what you didn't do
The thing you deliberately skipped, and the reason you skipped it, is part of the work.
