How to Build, Market and Run Your Business with Runable

Key Takeaways

  • Most AI business help starts with a blank page. Ashley Gross's method starts with the facts you already have, and takes one business idea all the way to a clear offer, a website and the client work that follows.
  • The method runs in three stages: Build the offer, Market it, Run the work that comes in. The same facts carry through every stage.
  • The biggest risk is not bad output. It is output that looks finished but contains details you never gave it. Every build ends with five checks to catch that.
  • On November 17th, 12 to 1 PM EST , Ashley builds a real business website live with Runable on LinkedIn. It is free, and you can apply to have your business featured.

Most business advice starts with a blank page. Ashley Gross starts with what you already have.

Ashley is the founder of The Alliance, an enterprise AI advisory and implementation firm, and the author of The AI Workweek. She has trained more than 2,500 professionals at Fortune 500 companies, and she has been building AI into real business workflows since 2020.

While building her new course, she ran a simple test. She gave Runable a handful of facts about a fictional design studio. Two services. A tone. One goal. Nothing else.

What came back was not one generic answer. It was the start of an entire business: a research brief, three possible offers, and from the one she picked, a website, the marketing around it, and the documents a client receives after the first call.

This post explains the idea behind that method, gives you the first prompt to try today, and shows where to watch the rest happen live.

Why AI business help usually falls apart

AI will fill in details you never gave it.

In one of Ashley's test runs, a follow up email promised a client two examples. She had never mentioned any. They did not exist. The draft read well and looked finished, and that is exactly what made it dangerous.

Most people meet this problem one of two ways. They stop trusting the tool and go back to the blank page, or they trust it too much and send something with a claim they cannot back up. Ashley's method is built to avoid both.

The method in three stages

Build. Turn what you know into an offer someone could actually buy: who it is for, the problem it solves, what they receive, and what it costs. Runable proposes options. You choose one.

Market. Give that offer a home: a website that explains it and collects leads, a free resource for your audience, and the posts and emails that point people to it.

Run. Carry the same facts into the work after interest arrives: the notes from a sales call, the proposal, the follow up, the onboarding pack and a weekly look at your leads.

The thread through all three is a single rule. Runable drafts. You decide, publish and send.

One prompt to try today

Here is the first step of Stage 1, exactly as Ashley uses it. Write down only the facts about your business that are actually true, then paste them into a new task in Runable.

plain
plain
Business facts (all that I know): [YOUR BUSINESS FACTS]. No other facts exist. Produce an Opportunity Brief and three Offer Cards. Use only these facts; mark every assumption; do not invent prices, results, awards or customers. Do not ask me questions and do not show a plan for approval.

You get back a brief where every claim is marked as coming from your facts or as an assumption, plus three offers, each with a buyer, a problem, a deliverable and a risk.

The first lesson of Live session one: steps, a prompt with a Copy button, what you should see, and the done when check.

Notice what the prompt does. It tells Runable what does not exist, not only what does. That one habit changes almost everything that follows.

Picking the right offer, turning it into a page people trust, and keeping invented details out of everything you publish is where most people get stuck. That is what Ashley does live on November 17th.

The five checks

Every build in Ashley's method ends with the same five checks before anything leaves your hands: Source, Arithmetic, Gaps, Attachments and links, and a human who sends.

Each one exists because of a mistake she watched AI make while building the course. She walks through them on a real build, so you can see what each one catches.
